Children under the age of 18 are covered yearly by Saskatchewan Health. Also, children are covered to be examined by an optometrist if you have any concerns with their vision.

When should I start bringing in my child for an exam?

However, if you have a strong family history of vision problems, or if you have any concerns about your child's eyes, please bring your child in at any age.
